THE SNAPSHOT CONTEST

47th Annual Brushy Mountain Apple Festival

10/5/2024 - First Saturday in October

Purpose: To obtain photos of the 47th Annual Brushy Mountain Apple Festival to be used for future publicity and advertising. Each year the Brushy Mountain Ruritan Club holds a photo contest the day of the Brushy Mountain Apple Festival. The purpose of this contest is to capture all the special moments that occur throughout the day of the festival and share them for others to enjoy. The goal of this contest is to also encourage artists and individuals alike to really immerse themselves into the festival and push themselves to see what kind of amazing images they can capture!

Prizes to be awarded:

1st Prize:Photo featured in Program following year - Facebook post

2nd Prize:Photo posted on Facebook -

RULES

(1) One(1) entry per person.

(2) No inappropriate subjects or imagery. (All photos should be viewable by all ages)

(3) All photo submissions must be from the current year Brushy Mountain Apple Festival or Apple Jam.

(4) No editing may be done to images. All submissions must be the original captured photograph.

(5) All submissions must be in a public setting. (No images inside a private business may be submitted for the contest. Images taken inside businesses will not be eligible for the contest.)

(6) The contest is open to all, except members of the Brushy Mountain Ruritan Club, their families or families of the judges. Void where prohibited by law. No purchase is necessary to win.

(7) Any photo submitted can hereby be used by the BMRC for Brushy Mountain Apple Festival publicity and advertising purposes without compensation or notification by the Brushy Mountain Ruritan Club.

(8) All photos must be submitted by (Saturday one week following the festival) to be eligible for the contest. Winners will be announced 2 weeks later.
